3112 全科医师和家庭医师职责概述

全科医师和家庭医师为患者治疗普通疾病、生理疾病和其它伤病。为了让患者更快的恢复健康，医师们会跟患者保持联系并提供持续的护理。他们通常在私人诊所（其中包括小组或者团队形式的诊所）、医院和诊所工作。经过驻院培训成为全科医师和家庭医师的也属于该项。 General practitioners and family physicians diagnose and treat the diseases, physiological disorders and injuries of patients. They provide primary contact and continuous care toward the management of patients’ health. They usually work in private practice, including group or team practices, hospitals and clinics. Residents in training to be general practitioners and family physicians are included in this unit group.

3112 加拿大全科医师和家庭医师的主要职责 Main duties

全科医师和家庭医师应履行下列部分或全部职责： General practitioners and family physicians perform some or all of the following duties:

• 检查病人的身体并根据病人的病史进行实验室检验、X射线和其他诊断治疗，同其他医师商讨并评估病人的身体和精神健康状况 Examine patients and take their histories, order laboratory tests, X-rays and other diagnostic procedures and consult with other medical practitioners to evaluate patients’ physical and mental health

• 开药方、管理药品以及进行特殊护理 Prescribe and administer medications and treatments

• 亲自做一些日常手术或者手术助理 Perform and assist in routine surgery

• 提供紧急护理 Provide emergency care

• 提供急性护理管理 Provide acute care management

• 为病人接种疫苗及预防 Inoculate and vaccinate patients

• 接生，并提供产前和产后护理 Deliver babies and provide pre-natal and post-natal care

• 为患者和家属提供医疗保健方面的建议，其中包括养生和疾病的预防 Advise patients and their families on health care including health promotion, disease, illness and accident prevention

3112 加拿大全科医师和家庭医师的就业要求 Employment requirements

• 具有理工科学士学位，或者在魁北克完成大学学习并接受过一年大学医学预科班的学习 A bachelor’s degree or In Quebec, completion of a college program and one year of pre-medicine university studies is usually required.

• 毕业于经过认可的医学学校并且有两到三年的家庭医生的驻院培训经历 Graduation from an approved medical school and Two to three years of family medicine residency training are required.

• 通过了加拿大医务委员会的资格考试并且获得了由省级或地方相关审批部门颁发的许可证 Completion of the qualifying examinations of the Medical Council of Canada and Licensing by the provincial or territorial licensing authority are required.
