7242 加拿大工业电工职责概述 

工业电工负责安装、维护、检测、诊断和修复工业电气设备及相关的电器和电子控制装置。他们主要受雇于电业承包商和工厂、厂房、矿山、船厂和其它工业单位的维修部门。 Industrial electricians install, maintain, test, troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical equipment and associated electrical and electronic controls. They are employed by electrical contractors and maintenance departments of factories, plants, mines, shipyards and other industrial establishments.

加拿大工业电工应履行下列部分或全部职责： Industrial electricians perform some or all of the following duties:

• 读懂图纸、蓝图、图表和电工规程说明来配置工业电器装置 Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installations

• 安装、检测、维修电线、插座、配电箱、导管、供料器、光纤同轴电缆配件、照明器材等电器零部件 Install, examine, replace or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, fibre-optic and coaxial cable assemblies, lighting fixtures and other electrical components

• 对电气和电子设备的连续性、电流、电压和电阻进行测试 Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance

• 维护、维修、安装并检测开关设备、变压器、配电盘、调节器和电抗器 Maintain, repair, install and test switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators and reactors

• 维护、维修、检测电动机、发电机、交流发电机、工业蓄电池、水力和风力电控系统 Maintain, repair, test and install electrical motors, generators, alternators, industrial storage batteries and hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control systems

• 通常要求有中学文化程度 Completion of secondary school is usually required.

• 通常要求有四到五年的工业电工学徒训练，或者有五年以上相关工作经验并且学习了工业电气设备专业的高中、大学和工业课程，才有资格获得技工证书 Completion of a four- or five-year industrial electrician apprenticeship program or A combination of over five years of work experience in the trade and some high school, college or industry courses in industrial electrical equipment is usually required to be eligible for trade certification.
