7371 加拿大起重机操作员职责概述 

起重机操作员负责操作起重机或拉铲挖土机，以升高、移动和定位机器设备，还负责操作及建筑工业用地、港口、铁道、地表采矿和其它类似地方的大型设备。他们受雇于建筑业、工业、采矿业、货物搬运及装卸业和铁路公司。Crane operators operate cranes or draglines to lift, move, position or place machinery, equipment and other large objects at construction or industrial sites,ports, railway yards, surface mines and other similar locations. They are employed by construction, industrial, mining, cargo handling and railway companies.

7371 加拿大起重机操作员主要职责 Main duties 

起重机操作员应履行下列部分或全部职责：Crane operators perform some or all of the following duties:

• 操作移动和塔式起重机，举起、移动设备或材料 Operate mobile and tower cranes to lift, move, position or place equipment and materials

• 工作前对起重机进行检测，依据工作量不同分配不同的起重机装备 Perform pre-operational inspection, and calculate crane capacities and weight to prepare for rigging and hoisting

• 操作打桩起重机打桩，以支撑建筑物和其它结构 Operate pile driving cranes to drive pilings into earth to provide support for buildings and other structures

• 操作配有挖泥疏浚附件的起重机疏通水道和其它区域 Operate cranes equipped with dredging attachments to dredge waterways and other areas

• 在港口，操作高架移动起重机装卸货物 Operate gantry cranes to load and unload ship cargo at port side

• 在铁道，操作机动起重机转移物件或材料等 Operate locomotive cranes to move objects and materials at railway yards

• 操作高架起重机移动工厂机器或材料等 Operate bridge or overhead cranes to lift, move and place plant machinery and materials

7371 加拿大起重机操作员就业要求 Employment requirements 

• 具备中学文化程度 Completion of secondary school is usually required.

• 通常要求完成一到三年的学徒训练，或者在高中、大学或企业学过起重机作业相关课程 Completion of a one- to three-year apprenticeship program or High school, college or industry courses in crane operating are usually required.

• 在魁北克，可以且必须具备起重机操作员技工证书，但是在萨斯克彻温省是自愿的 Trade certification as a hoist operator is compulsory in Quebec and available, but voluntary, in Saskatchewan.

• 在马尼托巴和阿尔塔省，可以且必须具备工作台起重机操作员技工证书，但是在萨斯克彻温省、不列颠哥伦比亚省、努纳武特和西北地区则是自愿的 Boom truck crane operator trade certification is compulsory in Manitoba and Alberta and available, but voluntary, in Saskatchewan, British Columbia, Nunavut and the Northwest Territories.
