与领事馆安排约会之前，申请人需要准备好以下材料：
An applicant needs the following before scheduling an appointment:

  1. 每个申请人的有效护照号码。The valid passport number of each applicant.
  2. 证明每个申请人已支付签证申请费。以MRV收据号码为证，请按本文指定的付款方式执行。Proof that the visa application fee has been paid for each applicant (you will receive an MRV receipt number at a later step on this website). See Fee Payment Options.
  3. 每个申请人的非移民签证电子申请，DS-160表确认条码。 （填写DS-160申请表后，在屏幕上确认生成条形码，并请打印出来。）根据申请的签证类别，可能还需要其他信息。例如：

Nonimmigrant Visa Electronic Application, DS-160 confirmation (barcode) number for each applicant. (The final step after completing the DS-160 is to print the confirmation page with the bar code that appears on the screen.)
Additional information may be required based on the type of visa for which the applicant is applying. For example, also include the following:

  1. SEVIS号码， 来自于I-20表 学生签证（F类和M类）或 DS-2019表 交换访问签证（J类）

The DS-160, Nonimmigrant Visa Electronic Application, is an application for a nonimmigrant visa. The DS-160 is submitted electronically to the Department of State via the Internet. Consular Officers use the information entered on the DS-160 to process the visa application and, combined with a personal interview, determine an applicant’s eligibility for a nonimmigrant visa. (The final step after completing the DS-160 is to print the confirmation page with the bar code that appears on the screen.)
