教育程度加分是加拿大联邦技术移民评分的重要组成部分，技术移民申请者最高可以获取 25 分的加分，占了全部加拿大技术移民评分标准的四分之一（总分 100 分）。

技术移民教育加分的评分标准包括学历（文凭）和教育年限等方面，对于教育类型可以分为全日制和非全日制。

对于全日制教育，一般可以认为是脱产教育，一周最少15个课时以上,这些学时可以包括实验和实习。
